The initial post was about the coming increases in short and long term interest rates CAUSED by a possible increase to 2% for the 10 Yr note.
A response to that post said that the ten yr doesn’t go below 1.75%. I was pointing out that it was currently trading at 1.72%.

10-year TIPS are trading at -0.6%, so expected average annual inflation over the 10 year period is roughly about 2.4%.
