Tesla Sales Down in EU 14% Year-to-Date

China’s GDP is going to be 2x - 3x that of US by 2050. They will be likely be better that US in most categories and will close the gap in GDP per capita.

In China, automobile sales are already 2x - 3x that of US and most of them are EVs. China’s electricity generation is 2x (8500TWH vs 4200TWH) .

Tesla is the only non-chinese automobile company that is succeeding in China.

Manufacturers such as BYD Co. and SAIC Motor Corp.’s MG accounted for 7.4% of EV registrations across Europe in November, down from 8.2% in October, according to automotive researcher Dataforce. That’s the lowest level since March.

Perhaps some of the decline is due to EV sales slump in EU.

As I read that snip, it appears BYD and SAIC lost share of EV sales.

I’m just gonna say that I don’t think the Chinese are copying us here, otherwise their next generation fighter would be hundreds of millions of dollars over budget, not flying, and not on hold until the next administration comes to power.

It comes amid uncertainty about the future of the United States’ own sixth-generation fighter initiative — known as the Next-Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) Program. Projected costs for each of the future U.S. aircraft are estimated to reach hundreds of millions of dollars, and the Air Force in November decided to defer key decisions about the project’s direction to the incoming Trump administration.

iirc, in China, corrupt officials tend to be executed, rather than given a pass, because they are big shots.

You hear TFG advocating execution for rapists and drug dealers. Has he ever proposed executing “JCs”?

Elon-the gift that keeps on giving.

Tech billionaire Elon Musk on Saturday restated his backing for Germany’s far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD), calling the party the “last spark of hope” for the country, in an op-ed published by the Welt am Sonntag newspaper.

The future editor-in-chief of the Welt group, Jan Philipp Burgard, contradicted the billionaire’s statements in his own op-ed, posted next to Musk’s.

Other Welt journalists also posted their disapproval publicly on X.

Musk’s backing of the AfD has sent shockwaves through Berlin, with some lawmakers this week accusing the SpaceX chief of interfering in German politics.

I believe it is time to open a USgate investigation by the FBI. LOL
