10 taxis. They probably need 2.
This has gotten so boring and tedious.
Have they run out of good ideas?
Maybe all of the engineers are resting after working 80 hour weeks for two years for the big Austin rollout?
If they are going to be boring, at least accumulate real miles like Waymo and even Zoox.
Remember the good ol’ days?
When the “progress” was “hot and fast”?
Tesla was going to have 1,000 robotaxis in a few months after June 2025 (they didn’t even get 100 supervised).
And here we are talking about 10 taxis in Vegas, more than one year later.
Remember, these goodies?

What about drones that hover above the metropolis to supervise the robotaxis?
The drones will be connected by starlink and use “hive mind” AI to cooperatively and optimally orchestrate the taxis and apply dynamic pricing (Tesla owner? you pay triple).
The drones will be above the skyline so as to have clear connectivity to the space data centers.
They will re-charge on rooftops owned by SpaceX and leased to Tesla that will have (solar city) solar panels and megapack batteries.
