Tesla wins, Delaware loses

At minute six, Warren Redlich’s summary, Why Tesla wins and Delaware loses. Below the video some of the relevant comments.

As a retired lawyer, this was very well and truly said. Nobody should incorporate in Delaware and those companies incorporated there now should seriously consider moving.

The real winners in this case were the lawyers.

Insane that Tesla/shareholders have to pay $60 million to the lawyers. Insane.

Glad this was resolved in our favor, saves a ton of money for shareholders and gets Elon paid. The lawyer fees are relatively inconsequential for Tesla but shows the corruption of DE.

Excellent explanation; thank you Warren.

Warren - You really hit the nail on the head!! Why should Tesla (including shareholders) pay attorneys for years of time-consuming distractions? :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: :+1:

Awarding the plaintiff attorneys 56 million for this frivolous lawsuit will only encourage more frivolous lawsuits in Delaware. :enraged_face:Tesla has to pay the plaintiff attorneys 56 million for this nonsense.

Exactly, otherwise there would be no time-consuming and costly distractions at Tesla.

That’s almost always the case. The lawyers are the winners in divorce. The lawyers are the winners in personal injury. And the lawyers are the winners for property sales, for IPOs, for bankruptcies, etc. The reason this is so is because the lawyers are on both sides of every case, and every transaction, and they specifically arrange things such that they always get paid, and always get paid first.

I may be late to the party but I am sold on FSD.

Musk won.

Now he needs to push prices way down.
