Regarding growth in China, most of it is coming from new purchasers. That’s because the average age of a car in China is only about 5 years (in the USA, it’s over 12 years), so not many of them are being junked* yet (compared to the USA or Europe).
* Junked or shipped to 3rd world for a second round of usefulness.
