I’ve “heard” of the Faeroes many times, but, this is the first time I’ve delved into the topic.
At 62N, further north than Moscow (55N), Anchorage is 61N.
North Atlantic Ocean. Between Iceland and Norway.
But the Gulf Stream maintains a temperate climate.
Temperatures for such a northerly climate are moderated by the gulf stream, averaging above freezing throughout the year, and hovering around 12 °C (54 °F) in summer and 5 °C (41 °F) in winter.[11] The northerly latitude also results in perpetual civil twilight during summer nights and very short winter days.
Might make a nice destination?
