Rich people have been leaving the UK in their droves since Labour came to power, their wealth and business acumen going with them. Things are going down bank very quickly here in the UK and I suspect we shall be going to the IMF for a bailout the way things are going:

Sounds like things aren’t that different in the US and UK. Conservatives come in to power and muck things up. The people toss them aside, elect liberals who clean up the mess, then get blamed for the problems the conservatives caused.
Wasn’t it the Tories that pushed through Brexit? And didn’t Labour say at that time it was a bad idea? So now that it’s proven to have been a bad idea, the Tories are trying to blame Labour for the problem they caused.

A certain sort insists the same will happen to the US, if the government stops taking from the Proles and giving to the “JCs”. Funny that. Taking from the rich to help the Proles is “wealth transfer”, “welfare”, and generally SOCIALISM ( a bad thing, we are told ). But taking from the Proles, and giving to those who already have the most, is “job creation”.
