The rambling is alarming

Yea, when I was young I looked at those 50-and-up as pathetic and quite convincingly decided I’d never look or act like that. Today? Well being born just after 1950 I will again this year do the 60-and-over class in the ORAMM (Off Road Ascent of Mount Mitchell) which is a 60-plus mile mountain bike race with 13,000 verticle feet of climbing. My also pathetic attempt not to get old (obviously failing miserably) maybe?

But if I had to sit in front of people for hours answering questions, many of which I’d answered previously and many I thought were boringly stupid? I’d come up with some story to ramble about and I’d go on and on just to avoid the other crap.

Well, I watched a few hours of it today, and like many I found the rambling answers from Warren to make less than riveting viewing/listening. I didn’t get much out of it … I guess I got a bit frustrated with the rambling answers many of which I’ve heard given before by him (more or less) but with better delivery.

I eventually lost patience and turned it off. That’s the first time in several years since I started watching them. Bummer.

End of an era?
