A federal appeals court on Thursday blocked President Joe Biden’s administration from continuing to implement a new student debt relief plan designed to lower monthly payments for millions of Americans.
The St. Louis-based 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals [granted a request by seven Republican-led states to put on hold parts of the U.S. Department of Education’s debt relief plan that had not already been blocked by a lower-court judge.
They still have the GI bill. But the people asking for the government help chose not to go that route. Anyway it doesn’t look like it matters much with the lawsuits on going and Biden stepping down. I think now we can call this a moot point.
If we are so good to the military how come the pay is so low? It is hypocrisy.
Besides it was everyone after the GI bill that got it. It is not like it was only the GI bill. I went to UofHouston for $800 per semester out of state. UCONN around that time was $3600 in state.

It’s not low, many of my relatives have served and retired on a very good pension. It used to be low, but not anymore. Plus the bonus’s to stay on can be very good.
You are the one that brought up the GI bill, now it’s not good enough for you?
