They are both in China, which makes you a little uneasy (as well it should in a country where the government can totally change Internet rules tomorrow if they get the urge).
You think that they are past the stage of explosive growth at this point.
(And the economy of China is slowing down as well).

I’ve just returned from my annual trip to China visiting with my wife’s friends and family. This time we spent 10 weeks in China. I will post a more lengthy message soon, but I would like to interject that totally changing the internet rules would be extraordinarily disruptive. I think it extremely unlikely that such an action would be motivated by some whimsical urge.

It is also worth taking note that the slow down in the growth of the of the GDP in China is a reduction from 7.5% to about 6.5%. That remains a rather significant pace.

Don’t interpret this note as advocating investment in Chinese companies. I feel any investment in a Chinese enterprise to carry significant risk. I will explain my reasons for that sentiment in a later post.
