Today’s Chuckle

US Treasury Secretary Bessent has accused China of holding back products that are essential to the US industrial supply chain.

Maybe he should bring up this problem with his boss?

Goodness, gracious! Why would China do such a thing? Could it be something Taco D did by any chance?

I understand that negotiations are hung up over the number of dolls and pencils Chinese children will be allowed to own.

That’s weird. Who would have thought China would leverage their strengths when we started a trade war?

Do these people understand that their incredulousness only confirms that they have their heads in Chump’s arse?

P.N., the trade economist, is still running the numbers.

US is 145x better than China, so take 2 US dolls and divide by 145 to get 2/145 = 0.0137 dolls per Chinese youth.

Multiply 0.0137 by total number of Chinese youth to get Chinese GDD (Gross Domestic Dolls).

I think the US is hand counting the number of Chinese youth (so as to prevent doll count fraud).

Timeline

  • June 13, 2026 hand count complete
  • June 14, 2026 press conference announcement of doll figures, with visual aid
  • June 15, 2026 90-day pause of initial doll figures as show of goodwill
  • June 16, 2026 golf day
  • June 17, 2026 impatient dramatic escalation to 215 US dolls per China doll
  • June 18, 2026 to November 2028 China slow-walks negotiations (ie, ignores US by sending all calls to voicemail)

Is overlooked by their very credulous base.
