American retail giant Walmart has announced plans to put 19 autonomous electric forklifts to work at at four of its distribution centers as its experiments with a robotic workforce continue.

Anybody else watch the video and say “Uh, no, I don’t want to work in a warehouse with those automated forks rolling around at those speeds”?

I bet plenty of people said that. Even if the automated forklifts have 1 injury per 100,000 lifts and the humans have 1 injury per 10,000 lifts.
