Personally I take great pains to avoid Private Equity and Silicon Valley “Skim”.

I don’t use Apple products.

I avoid doctors and hospitals that are owned by Private Equity

And I’ve never taken an Uber or Lyft ride. On the rare occasions where I need a ride, I’ll take a local taxi and keep the money in the community.

For those scoring at home, cheapie department store Big Lots went BK yesterday, and was promptly bought by PE.
