Why Elon Musk bought Twitter (non-political)

How did you come by it?

How do you know it’s completely false? When the news first came out it sounded very fishy to me. Now that the narrative is under wraps we’ll never know the truth.

Innocent until proven guilty but I don’t trust politicians, specially the ones in power.

Because it was completely at odds with the reporting in most major news sources.

Also because it defies common sense.

As we say in Spanish, I don’t have a candle in this wake so I’m not going to post any more on this thread.

Yah. Its due to inflation. A picture is now worth less than 20 characters.

Google is your friend. There is a video recording of the suspect breaking into the home.

So in the absence of verifiable truth, occam’s razor would lead you to more likely believe it was a fight with a gay prostitute instead of a break in?

Thanks for the laugh…doc

How about showing the video.

This is a funny story. I was playing golf with someone I didn’t know. I had a 20 foot putt for par. He says “if you make the putt I’ll give you my orange farm in Antarctica and if you miss I get the bridge you have in Brooklyn”. And I said “you’re on”! Needless to say I sank the putt and the rest is fantasy.

Mark,

I have 200 3D animations. I am waiting for copies to be offered as an option on Opensea. I aim to sell possibly 100 copies of each or potentially 20k low priced NFTs.

I am in a waiting position for now.

As far as Musk, he is creating a crypto platform. The free speech is a patriarch society thing when it comes to full blown die hard stuff. I think Musk just lets that ride. Then he sells EV to those ICE guys.

I use LinkedIn…which costs me $70 per month. Business people will and do pay to network. Twitter will be a networking company for the crypto world.

Jim, that story earns you a thumbs UP!

Exactly the point. Musk’s hubris will be the end of Twitter. Half of the San Francisco-based company’s staff of 7,500 were let go indiscriminately. Musk has no idea who he fired, what they were working on, or what kind of rival Twitter they could hatch.
Musk’s acquisitions have been successful with no intelligent development or insight from Musk.
Sometimes you catch the wrong wave…
In this case it’ll be a beach-crashing mess

The Truth, from his own mouth.

David DePape said he planned to wear a unicorn costume he brought to the home that night and use the hammer to interrogate her about what he believed were government-backed plots against former President Donald Trump and other matters.

“I wanted to use her to expose the truth,” said DePape, who at times appeared so emotional that he couldn’t speak. “If she lied, I would break her kneecaps.”

Update:

Federal prosecutors want DePape to serve 40 years for his conviction on charges of attempted kidnapping of a federal officer or employee and assault of an immediate family member of a federal official.

DePape was dumb enough to listen to some folks.
