No. This is not OT. IMO, a “friendly” govt in Cuba (and VZ) will benefit/influence the US macro economy as well as the macro n micro economies of those countries.

I really hope something can be done to end the U.S. Embargo of Cuba. It is the key to enhancing the economies of the entire Caribbean island chain.
I believe it will be difficult, but worth doing.

Spoken like a true Texan. Our oldest was born in TX, shhhh, don’t tell anyone! We were shocked by the choices we had for birth certificates. We went for the Yosemite Sam version that proudly proclaimed - “Congratulations to the rootinest, tootinest, shootinest little rascal ever to be born in Texas, yeehaw!”
