Where was that video recorded – somewhere in the Yukon Territories?

800 mile range.
We don’t need no stinking Chinee EVs!

Looks pretty crappy no matter how many times he says, “This is nice, man”.

The first expensive one had a better battery. Then they stopped mentioning the milage.

LOL the larger SUV is programmed to wear out its tires quickly.

Ok but you do realize everyone can watch that video and see that your comments are not true.

At the end of the video he had a great idea. Go to Mexico, buy a used one. Drive it back across the border and keep driving. I guess they sell them in Mexico already. He said they were 30% of the market.

You are sold. But it still looks like junky stuff.

There is no mention of the bigger complaints about cheap Chinese EVs not having good handling. Not a word. Steering loose, breaks not responsive.

If you show me a video about that I will watch it. But in that video I did not see that. What I saw was some nice stylish vehicles with some nice screens. You were right on the tires they said they were not up to snuff. Not hard to buy new ones for the price. The more concerning part was the brakes that they said were to small. When you have a EV you want good brakes. But they are the competition and we really need to evaluate them honestly or we could be in a world of hurt.

GM updates the Ultium platform in early 2027. I wish that was sooner. Rule by committee.

The Chinese EV producers dropped out by about 250 corporations gone in the last three years. Not sure who this competition that does not make money is threatening.

Ford Ceo is driving the Xiaomi Su7 and said he doesn’t want to give it up.

Isn’t that what happened in the U.S when they started their automobile journey? Failure is good, don’t be afraid of it.

The US regime is openly, proudly, anti-EV. They want a US full of huge “gas fueled” vehicles. Ford is rapidly collapsing it’s footprint to North America only. They closed their plants in India, Australia, and Brazil. They just cut their EU division loose, so it can collapse without Ford North America bearing any loss. Ford’s Chinese division is in far worse shape than GM’s, yet GM wrote down their Chinese operation last year.

I like the huge gas fueled vehicles just not the price. A Dodge ram 3500 with the cummins engine is now over 100,000 dollars.

There is no point to accelerating EV saturation of the market without spending on our grid at least hand in hand.

Well, buckle up, because several automakers want to keep escalating prices. The VW division CFO has said he wants to push prices up to Audi territory. The Audi division head has said he wants to push prices up to the fringe of Bentley territory. The Ford CEO has said he wants to push prices up to Porsche territory. In short, they want to make more money, while doing less. As far as they are concerned, if you can’t pay the price, you can walk.
