XPO Logistics (NYSE:XPO) +10.3% AH after agreeing to acquire French trucking firm Norbert Dentressangle in a deal valued at $3.53B including debt, as it seeks to become one of the world’s largest providers of supply-chain services.
It is the largest-ever deal for XPO CEO Brad Jacobs, who has made a career building companies such as United Rentals and United Waste Systems through acquisitions.
XPO says the acquisition will increase its pro forma revenue to ~$8.5B, and EBITDA to $545M.
