OK, I believe this is XPO’s first dip into actually owning a trucking company but 59M doesn’t seem like that much for the market to beat up on them. Am I missing something.

Are you referring to the 1% drop in share price today as “beat up?” XPO is up ~12% since 1/19/15. What am I missing here?

With the great earnings reported I expected a great run up this morning. Go back and look at the day’s range and you will see it was a bit lower when I was putting my post together.
To reiterate, I was expecting a 10% run up out of the gate. 1% moves don’t ever get my attention.
I was in a buying mood and Was looking for a little confirmation.

I have a very small position and am looking to add. I sold $40 puts that look like they will expire worthless tomorrow. I also sold the August $45 puts a few weeks ago and I suspect that there’s a good chance that those will expire worthless as well. I also expected a large increase in the stock price this morning. What I like most about this company is the CEO’s previous track record. This is his third time doing this and the other two times were successful. I don’t think it’s an accident and I want to bet a bit more on him by owning a larger position. I’m thinking about bumping up my position size from 1% to 4%.
