Apple within an inch of $3 Trillion.

Warren nailed this on.

First company to hit a market cap of $3 trillion market capitalization.
Good for them.

They were also the first company to hit $2 trillion, about 16 months ago.
Also good for them.
We’re all happy they’re doing well.

But it might be good to remember that it’s pretty certain the company is not actually worth a trillion (and 50%) more than it was then.

It’d probably make sense to take $100bn off the table imo and sit in cash at this point.

Sure.
That’s what I do every time my account makes an unexpected trillion in mark-to-market gains.
Damned nuisance having to do all that extra trading.

Management could have a look at the Kraneshares China Tech ETF, might be a good option for redeployment. I’ve no holding in it myself I have direct shareholdings. Just an idea.

you are right. Perhaps it will be worth more.

Blackswanny…or a tad of CWEB for the extra juice? LOL!

Chomp, I can’t get access to that only KWEB LSE listing, saves on currency conversion which is good.

fwiw the last time Buffett added AAPL was q3 2018. He sold AAPL in 2019 and 2020, missing out on some gains because he couldn’t foresee them. We will know about 2021 soon.
