Our board has rules and is not a place to reprint posts by random people on twitter or other “news” stories that are not verified. Be it some claims about an energy drink causing liver failure (Celsius) or a sales team allegedly behaving unethically (Cloudflare). If one of these outside posts interests you, you should at least do you due diligence and reach out to investor relations for comment before creating fear, doubt and uncertainty on our board, which we all value so much … That’s simply not what our board is for.
I believe your post is referencing my post on the Celsius thread. I did not post the Twitter link to the news story to spread fear on the stock (I own a healthy position in CELH stock so I am not sure why I would do this). I posted it to inform people on a potential contributing factor to the stock being down almost 20% on Tuesday besides a 0.3% reduction in market share. The link referenced a video of the story from a local NBC news affiliate, so I am not sure how you can call it random or not verified. Anyways… I deleted the post with the link & am still holding my CELH stock.
I deleted my post in the Cloudflare thread as well.
I would note however it has been the CEO who mentions hiring standards and the under-performance of the sales team. A number of boards members wrote they sold Cloudflare because they didn’t like what the CEO said about the sales team.
On Celsius I’ve noticed in previous threads when the topic of ingredients in the drinks comes up, there are many who say this is off-topic. I’m unclear why an ingredients discussion would be off-topic as it can make a big difference between whether the drink is healthier or actually healthy for a person. It seems like basic due diligence to me to understand what the company is producing and it’s competitive advantages or secret sauce.
