How to spot artificial content on uTube. This Feynman lecture is artificially made. It is very interesting but it’s not Feynman. The tone of the voice is perfect but the cadence, the rhythm, is not Feynman. Feynman does not read scripts, he talks to his audience. He laughs at his own jokes. He interacts with his audience. This video does nothing of the sort, it reads a script. Another giveaway, the image never changes, closed captions are superposed.
In other videos there are vocal giveaways. Some time ago English changed the pronunciation of the letter ‘I’ to ‘EYE,’ the Great Vowel Shift. Human speakers use one or the other but auto dubbed tend to shift between the two, most notable in videos about Pam Bondi. Auto dubbed also has difficulties with numbers and dates which are spoken in strange ways, sometimes spelling out the dots or commas.
