AI generated country song

AI was used to generate a country song, that is popular in the digital space.
Many MSM headlines are screaming “#1 hit” blah blah blah. To get eyeballs.

The humans in the country song supply chain are working hard to belittle the song.

I asked Gemini:
( Is Walk My Walk in the top 25 on the country hits list?

Gemini says:
Yes, the song “Walk My Walk” by the AI-generated artist Breaking Rust is currently a top country hit, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Country Digital Song Sales chart. As of November 17, 2025, it is a leading digital seller, but it is not currently in the top 25 on the main, broader audience-tracking Billboard Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay charts.
The song’s success has generated significant industry discussion because the artist “Breaking Rust” has no verifiable human footprint. )

Here’s the song:

It reminds me of this lament:

IMO, neither is particularly “good music”.
But, both are (apparently) popular nonetheless.
Perhaps because both are laments and “populist” diatribes against “TPTB”.
It supports that AI can be used to create anthems and rallying cries for disaffected, marginalized “pitchfork” people.
AI is democratizing Edward Bernays n propaganda.

At any rate, AI is moving inexorably into “human” jobs.

I see a huge danger of AI destroying much of human craft, art, and profundity of expression. Here is a video by a solid sound engineer and music artist shrieking about the ugly stupidity of what is already happening using “pitch correction” algorithms that help crap singers but utterly destroy the subtlety of expression of real artists, and it is usually in those subtleties that a Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, or the BGs shine:
