Amazon becomes first streaming company to get Oscar best picture nod
Amazon.com Inc. has become the first internet streaming company to nab an Oscar nomination for best picture, with its “Manchester By the Sea” nominated Tuesday for six Academy Awards, including best director (Kenneth Lonergan) and best actor (Casey Affleck).
