I only just recently actually signed up for a free account, so not much experience. For the last few days I cannot even get to the main page because a black friday banner loads over whole thing. It has no “X” that I can see and there is no cancel option.
This happens in both firefox and edge, and expanding the window size doesn’t reveal any options.
How do I get past the banner, or is free really just a gimmick to make log in and then force me to pay?
FWIW, yeah… it’s a big banner, but I have no problems seeing the rest of the page. However… I have a subscription.
And again, FWIW, I think a Seeking Alpha subscription offers more value these days than a Fool subscription (I subscribe to Stock Advisor). Yes, Alpha has a lot of clueless posters like the Fool… and a lot of stupid analysis… but even the stupid analysis at Alpha has more depth than any Fool rec these days. And, of course, there is some really good work done there by some writers.
