No. Actually this is good for pigs. Just like humans learning to eat them was.

Maybe if you’re a free range pig on a farm. But industrial scale pork production is basically “concentration camps for animals” – and the few humans poor and desparate enough to work there.

We’ve been waiting, watching for human trials as they shift into genetically modified pigs for organs, in our case, hearts, grandson had 4 heart defects at birth, was told he’d need a transplant by age 20. They did a Fontain procedure, way back, 27 years ago, converting his heart into a 2 chamber, faster beating heart. So far so good, he’s headed back to UCLA for additional art classes this year, but in the back of all our minds is the possible need for a transplant one day… So far he’s exceeded expectations… But…

They’re also growing hearts and kidneys is labs, kind of like “Beyond Meat” hamburger patties.

All needed, an inlaw needed a kidney, no family member jumped up, luckily one was found, but he’s on meds for life, beats dyalisis, tho… No drinking is a hard rule for him, we’ll see… Pigs are very tasty…

A close friend of mine has a heart valve from a pig. He’s doing fine. Well, he snorts now when he laughs… but otherwise, he’s like his old self :wink:
