Hope everyone had a nice Christmas!! Came across this article saying that HUBS valuation is overheated but I think it lacks insight into the bottom line acceleration.
I also read the article. I think the author kind of misses the point about inbound marketing. He acknowledges it, but then pretty much concludes it’s just another way of saying “CRM.” Could be he’s smarter than I am or has a better in depth understanding of what HUBS does/doesn’t do. I must admit, I’m a little foggy on exactly what and how they do what they do.
The author also criticizes HUBS for targeting SMBs as their primary market with the undefended assertion that companies that view MSBs as they’re primary market tend to remain a small business themselves. I don’t know if that’s true, but even if it is there’s a lot of risk in using a generality to criticize a specific company.
