1200 range. So much for range anxiety.
1200 mile range. Assuming a similar efficiency to my Bolt, it would take about 36 hours to charge in my garage on level 2.
I’d rather have 300 mile range for 25% of the cost.
One wouldn’t have to fully charge if there wasn’t a vacation need for a longer range. Just charge the likely needed range.
A EV architecture affect how long it takes to charge an EV. The old stang=dard was 400 volt system. New EV come with a 800 volt system. I assume that will continue to improve.
Of course if it goes on sale the battery will have been shrunk, making the car cheaper.
What was not mentioned was that the Li-po batteries are now about 54 dollars a kilowatt hour and the solid state batteries are about 1000 dollars a kilowatt hour.
We have believes that parity with ICE was about a 100 dollars a kilowatt hour.
Not the these are China prices not USA prices.
