Outdoor recreation and camping entity Thousand Trails came out with a new offering in 2022 - Cabin Pass.
https://thousandtrails.com/cabinpass
$1495 for access to over 125 locations for 2-7 night stays (with primary restriction being 2 weeks out between stays).
There are two types of properties
a. Thousand Trails (70+ locations)
b. Trails Collection (55+ locations)
If one only had access to the Thousand Trails properties, one could avail themselves to cabins in Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Yosemite Lakes (about 5-6 miles from the primary entrance of Yosemite NP), a few locations along the Oregon coast, a bunch of locations in WA, and one in British Columbia, etc.
The yurts @ Yosemite Lakes are usually $250 - $300 per night. So one 5-6 day stay @ Yosemite Lakes would cover the cost of Cabin Pass.
At least to me, the primary selling point of the Trails Collection offerings is the Florida locations (in particular, the Florida Keys spots) and the Lake Tahoe location. Some of the Trails Collection locations have Age qualification restrictions
The TT cabins usually have a bathroom, a small kitchen, small TV and an outside grill (not sure if the grill is standard at each TT cabin location).
Back-of-envelope math: Monthly 5-day stays would be 60 days. That works out to less than $25/day. Cut the frequency in half, that works out to less than $50/day.
Not aware of any additional fees or catches to Cabin Pass
