Canadian Reaction to Tariffs

I really like the North Shore of Lake Superior, in Canada.
But I’m holding off on visiting. It is pretty remote, and leaving my vehicle, with it’s Michigan plate, at a trailhead is
possibly looking for trouble. I completely get how Canadians could be angry at us. I’ve seen enough Red Wings hockey games to know how tough Canadians can be,
so wouldn’t want to be on the wrong side of that resentment.
Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota have great stretches of Lake Superior shoreline, will have to be content with that, at least until Trump goes away.

I drove down to Columbus to visit my aunt a number of years ago. Until I got there, I had forgotten the license plate frame the dealer had put on my car, with it’s “M Go Blue” motto.

Steve

And did anything happen when you were visiting the Buckeyes?

DB2

Nope. The good folks of Columbus didn’t bother me at all.

Steve

Suffer any damage ?
Work sent me to a training class for a week, in Columbus.
Really liked it, nice town. But rabid Buckeye fans, in season, would probably done a number on a car sporting an M Go Blue LP frame.

As an aside, the last M game I went to, the PA announcer seemingly didn’t go more than 5 minutes without uttering the phrase M Go Blue Club needs your donation, or purchase, or something about they need your money. Swore to myself I’d never go to The Big House again, lol, it was sickening.

Seems the thought police are investigating U of M.

And yet POTUS is a labyrinth of undisclosed financial contributions. Odd that it’s OK for him, but not U of M.

“He” is a “JC”: exceptionally exempt from the standards of behavior we Proles are held to.
