Car-sized drones over New Jersey and now San Diego?

There are very few drones for civilian use that are the size of automobiles. The fact that they haven’t been identified tells me they came from someplace else – maybe Chinese?

There are over 300 million hi-res cameras (aka phones) in the U.S.

Where are all the hi-res photos of these car size drones?

I’m rooting for the sweet release of alien invasion.

The thing about “car sized” is, when it’s up in the air, with no nearby size reference, you really can’t tell if it’s the size of a car, some distance away, or the size of a toy car, much closer.

If someone was trying to be sneaky about it, why are they lit up?

It is pure speculation/conspiracy theory/hyperbole or whatever you want to call it but one explanation I read which I cannot get out of my head was that these are US government drones looking for radiation from a nuke or dirty bomb which has been smuggled into the US.

And they keep reminding us drones are legal. Anyone can fly them.

Personally i think its Amazon testing their new delivery fleet.

Capture one and find out…

If they’re aliens, all we’ll need to do is to get Will Smith to punch them in the nose (sorry, my favorite scene in the ridiculous movie).

Wait a minute.

Does that mean Chris Rock is an alien?

So while the authorities can’t explain it we can take comfort in them being certain it’s not a national security threat.

They tell its not legal to shoot one down. If you capture one, is that grand theft? Not your property. Can you defend your privacy?

Much ado about nothing, it seems to me, that they have the required lights means more likely it’s just light aircraft, doing their thing, with a bit of ground based hysteria… Some idiot shoots one down may well be responsible for the deaths of one or more, pay the price… Has nobody used a telescope, binoculars, long lensed camera for something other than fuzzy, useless photos, videos that made the news?

That is what the Shiny media does: generate and amplify hysteria. “severe weather!!!” “shocking!!!” “alarming!!!” “wild!!!”

This is what makes me think this is either:

  1. A manufactured distraction. Things that are there all the time but being reported as if it’s something new, “mysterious”, or potentially scary/dangerous. Not sure why “the authorities” would want to contribute to the yank job though.

  2. It’s something like crop circles. Mysterious, concerning, nobody knows what they are.OooH! Then they found out it was some laugh-a-minute, right jolly, ne’er-do-wells walking in wheat fields late at night with home-made snow shoes on.

First up, you need to become an FAA-Certified Drone Pilot and get your Remote Pilot Certificate. You can’t fly a drone higher than 400ft in California. Furthermore, March Air Force Reserve Base is located in Temecula where the drones have been spotted. The military has yet to reveal if the drones have been flying over restricted airspace.

You are not “shooting one down”. Capturing a UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon) is perfectly legal. If we knew what it was, then nobody would really care.

The videos I’ve seen are only at night. They don’t seem to be appearing during the day.

It is possible that a Cessna 172 owner put some additional lighting on his aircraft and it now looks like a Mexican 18-wheeler in the dark. But the UFO’s that are changing direction and hovering are very likely quadcopter drones of massive size that should have filed a flight plan if “legal”.

The “hobbyist exemption” for unlicensed civilians is about a half-pound drone operating at altitudes below 400 ft.

If this is such a great concern where are the infrared cameras? I mean one of the stories I heard, I assume for purposes of getting all upset and “boogey-manned-up”, was that some had flown over or near a military compound of some kind (Fort Dix…?) They don’t have any IR gear? I know the POH-leece do. Where is it? Hey, how about one of those big “Batman lights” Commissioner Gordon uses to signal Batman? Or maybe just a local TV station camera with a zoom lens?

This is sounding like the Luigi guy last week. For the time being we can’t trust any of these stories. Too many ulterior motives, sloppy or just over-impetuous reporting, and elements of low-grade mass hysteria taking over.

Unless they are part of a government agency that isn’t required to file public flight plans.
