CNET Zoom article.

Interesting article I didn’t see posted with a timeline of events regarding security issues.

If you haven’t seen this, it gives a good framing of this issues and how they are being addressed.

Sorry, TMB, that reads like a straight out hit piece, trying to emphasize again and bring back all those negative stories from 10 days ago, and all the ambulance chasing attorneys who said they were going to sue. Just carefully collected junk. But that’s just my opinion.

Hi Saul

I don’t read it that way at all as a shareholder.

It gave me a timeline of what’s going on and an understanding of the timeline, that’s all. When I see a date and a lawsuit I don’t think “hey that suit is legit, they are out to get us, Zoom is in big trouble”, I think “oh those damn lawyers, I’ve been through a class action and it’s a pain in the rear”.

As you can see in the timeline it also points out the dates and who’s been hired by Zoom and why, which is great information for an investor to have.

I’m not a paranoid person by nature, I don’t see information emotionally and need to only read and point out fluff pieces that agree with my point of view on an investment. Looking at only what I agree with, that has my point of view is dangerous. It’s why this country has become so divided. I want to see the entire story, understand it so I can make sound decisions in my stock holdings and my restaurants. It’s important to see a timeline and to understand both sides. Have an entire picture.

And for a bit of humor I thought the video of the fake Elon Musk zoombombing that one Zoom chat was priceless. The shock on those two participants faces was priceless. That alone was worth looking at the article.

Saul,
I am surprised that you immediately go on the offensive when somebody dares to mention something remotely negative about ZOOM.
Is your position size in ZM too big?
I thought this board was about discussing stocks which means to allow both sides to talk and listen.

On another note, this board talks way too much about ZM. Everything about the company has been said.

Look at the discussion about LVGO, very interesting company, but not much interest.
All the best, stay healthy

Hi Wyking, as far as the article you are referring to I called it as I saw it, and I see no need to take it back or apologize. I felt, and still feel it was a barely disguised hit piece. On the other hand, if you are not happy with my comments or with our board, no one is making you stay! There are thousands of other boards.

I think it was unnecessary to add that reference article as well since it has already been discussed at length on this board
We also had a previous link and discussion on the board from an industry insider that explained extensively how the cascade of negative press regarding zoom was possibly used by hedge funds who are short the stock.
This reminds me of the days of the “death grip” iPhone issue.
Since that time Apple is over a ten bagger
