What do these high margin, high profit firms know, that others don’t?

Probably a calculated bet that sticking to your values during short-term craziness, will always pay off in the long-term.

Not political, just an observation regarding hypocrisy. How does the pushing out of DEI in the name of meritocracy square with asking candidates for government positions how they feel about January 6th, or who they believe won the 2020 election?

Meanwhile, here’s a list of major companies that have abandoned DEI policies. I notice with amusement that Ford Motor dumped DEI last summer, the same time the company did a 180 degree turn away from EVs. Also, according to the local motown media, Ford was the first automaker to “donate” $1M, and free cars, to the inauguration. (insert big kissey sound here)
