Dark Pools and how to see what is going on

So I was looking on how to see what is going on in the Dark Pools. I found a nice little article on it.

I have a Schwab account it is true. You can see bids and asks not in the two major markets. It is not a big deal.

But I do not trade day to day or week to week or month to month. I can not use it. I do not want to use it.

Figure out your advantage for using it. I doubt there is much of one. Trading stops better gains in the marketplace.

Just because it is about trading centers does not mean it is about money on the sidelines. Dark pools are ownership and trading of equities not cash on the sidelines.

Have you looked at it Arindam? Do you have any insight on it? It sounds interesting although the information might be a little late.

“Dark Pools” quite honestly sounds like Q conspiracies. Those pesky Goldman Sachs people are up to no good. It is just trading not really dark pools. Remember I can easily see it with my Schwab account.

I can’t access it any longer Captain but basically it is saying with a Schwab account you are able to see what is going on in Dark Pools by seeing large trades. It then goes into telling how Stephanie Kammerman uses dark pools to see trades. It doesn’t go into great lengths more like a teaser. Stephanie has a business built on dark pools that people can subscribe to.

Here is a little information on what she is doing with the Dark Pools.

Andy,

I haven’t yet looked into how the info might be used, but I don’t doubt that some use could be made of it.

Sure Schwab allows you to see the full book of in the moment trading. You can get a better trade by a few cents.

I think Leap if we study these we might be able to find some investments that you can buy a call and put against like the article was stating. With the tools at our disposal, charts and fundamentals we could get some good short term gains. At least that is what I am hoping to do but we will have to see.

Good luck to you. Did I mention that woman I know named Twenty?

Arindam, It;s pretty cool. You can set up a watchlist for it to see what is happening. I was watching Boil being traded today and huge shares were changing hands as it went from 3.46 up to 3.62. Really interesting. Also I could see Soxl being traded very heavily. Need to look at it more but I like that I can have a watchlist to see what is happening. You can also have multiple watchlists and change between them.
