Detest Elon Musk? We have 2 New ETFs for You

Subversive ETFs, a New York ETF issuer, filed paperwork with the Securities and Exchange Commission this week to launch two “Ex-Elon” exchange-traded funds.

The proposed funds — the Nasdaq-100 Ex-Elon Enterprises ETF and the S&P 500 Ex-Elon Enterprises ETF, trading under the tickers QQNE and SPNE — would exclude companies that the fund managers determine to be “founded, controlled or led by” Musk, or with which he is primarily associated.

The two companies on the exclusion list are SpaceX and Tesla.

Or you can invest in a fund that uses a profitability screen where Tesla and SpaceX, having low or negative profitability, don’t make the cut.

Here’s one I like:

Caveat: If Tesla or SpaceX or TeslaSpaceX really start to make big money they would get added. Us naysayers will be eating humble pie and will want a piece anyway. Win-win.

SpaceX Will Be ‘Worth More Than the Rest of Earth,’ Musk Says.

Investors have had a lot of estimates, price targets, bull cases, and bear cases to digest. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk also has a thought about SpaceX’s potential: It will be worth more than Earth.

“You don’t seem to understand that SpaceX will be worth more than the rest of Earth if we accomplish our goals,” wrote Musk in a post on X on Thursday afternoon. He was responding to a comment about AI costs.
