Tariffs a storm ahead?

The early 1920s had strong tariff policies. There were huge swings from inflation to deflation. Inflation and deflation that today would radically be unacceptable to the public. There is a risk with tariffs of a major devaluing of the USD. This can mean a debt crisis in the US. US companies will rise prices in 2025 substantially. The mea culpa I promised?
