Eli Lilly’s Obesity Pill Works as Well as Injected GLP-1s

This is huge. Lots of people are afraid of needles.

No fear of needles, but I just last week began Mounjaro injectors after a near month long battle with my insurance company, round and round calls with them, the pharmacy, my Doc’s office, as well as notes online and texts… But, all set for a year… no side affects, so far… But a pill would be simpler… Likely not any cheaper…

Interesting news at my cardiologist’s office last week…this class of meds (GLP-1 agonists in general…not necessarily pill form) shows promise in ASCVD even when it’s not secondary to diabesity!

For but one example of the work being done…

This sounds like it would be good news for LLY stock.

I’ll say. Quite ironic in a way when, over the years, treatments that were discovered and developed for diseases that weren’t secondary to overweight/metabolic dysfunction (insulin and statins, for instance) have become huge profit centers here. Now it looks as if there’s potential for the opposite.
