Oddly, our local Costco has had bananas on for C$1.99 for 20 years. A lot of other things have gone up. Methinks it is one of those loss leader things like the hot dog and soft drink?

Sunday mornings 0900 is a good time, many of the old people go to church. I was the only customer at the prescription counter so enjoyed a chat with the very nice young lady from Iran who wears the traditional outfit in spite of living in Canada for 11 years. She came over as a young teen with her family.
