EVs built in China targeting EU market--price AND quality are good

A few days ago, I posted elsewhere, a table of global warranty costs for automakers, as a percent of sales. The Chinese brand’s warranty costs were tiny, like half, or less, than Toyota’s 1% of sales. For comparison, Ford and GM warranty costs are 2.9% of sales.

Of course, I don’t know what sort of warranties ChiCom manufacturers provide, or what is involved in making a warranty claim. As some Hyundai owners have found, there are various ways a company can try to duck it’s warranty obligations.
