I just don’t think you can sell 20 million units across only three high-volume models. It doesn’t matter how good the models are - there’s just too much variety in consumers’ needs and preferences for that to ever work.

That’s exactly right and what the Tesla bulls seem to be missing. How many models does Honda have? Toyota? Chevrolet?
