Less healthcare, it seems.
Pass the Ruffles, please.
I read somewhere that the pandemic is over.

So if there’s no pandemic, you don’t need health insurance?
Yes, all Americans need it.
It’s a policy problem that is not going away (on its current trajectory) because it affects everyone.
For example, healthcare access and affordability is also an important issue in Georgia.
Here’s a voice from the northwest, rural part of Georgia.
I believe this quote represents the concern among Americans from any state:
“Let’s just say as nicely as possible, I’m not a fan [of the ACA],” she wrote. “But I’m going to go against everyone on this issue because when the tax credits expire this year my own adult children’s insurance premiums for 2026 are going to DOUBLE, along with all the wonderful families and hard-working people in my district.”
“It’s important to know that I am fighting this issue because all health insurance premiums are already extremely expensive and increasing health insurance premiums is going to crush people.”
“It’s one of the top issues I hear about in my district,” she said.
“I’m carving my own lane,” she wrote. “And I’m absolutely disgusted that health insurance premiums will DOUBLE if the tax credits expire this year. Also, I think health insurance and all insurance is a scam, just be clear! Not a single [redacted party name] in leadership talked to us about this or has given us a plan to help Americans deal with their health insurance premiums DOUBLING!!!”
People need health insurance, especially catastrophic insurance. They also needed it prior to the pandemic (which is now over). Status quo ante.

Healthcare is needed before, during and after the pandemic.
Pandemic is used as cover first to provide the enhanced credits and now, I guess by some, to remove them.
