Good. I don’t care if you or anyone reads or not.
Today Berkshire released their 3Q, 10-Q. There are lots of good reviews of the quarter in the twitter…
Some of the headline numbers need correction, setting aside, solid performance from operating companies, and stellar performance from insurance segment. Can insurance sustain such performance, and separately as long as they are performing so well, rate revisions are not going to be approved needs to be kept in mind.
Separately, Berkshire didn’t buyback any shares. There was a window, where the valuation was cheaper than the last few years buyback. Investors will note, and yawn for now.
We have Buffett for another quarter. Post Buffett, how long Berkshire will be able to not buyback, or justify the cash build. Will Berkshire announce dividend? What will it do to the share price? I expect most of the long-time owners will start estate planning by now, if they have not already.
Few of Buffett’s latest purchases were not great, but it is Buffett and no one questioned. What happens Greg does M&A, that is not hitting out of the park?
I see a stock that is ripe for some correction, consolidation. But will be solid overtime.
