Good article on Nvidia's competition

Covers all the companies I could think of, and presents their products in decently lay-person terms.

Concludes, partially, with:

It’s clear that Nvidia has no shortage of competitors. It’s equally clear that none of them will challenge—never mind defeat—Nvidia in the next few years. Everyone interviewed for this article agreed that Nvidia’s dominance is currently unparalleled, but that doesn’t mean it will crowd out competitors forever.

I sold 40% of my Snowflake position to add 20% to my already oversized position in Nvidia.

With the Nvidia’s Omniverse and AI Foundry, Nvidia and Accenture announced a massive partnership; Accenture is Going to Market with an AI development platform, ‘AI Refinery’ (Albeit only built in he past 4 Months) Sounds like they’re going GA with with it with this announcement.

With Accenture’s 30,000 employee GTM, Nvidia is going after Enterprise AI and Industrial AI, with this ‘AI Agents Development platform called AI Refinery’.

(This link is from an account I’m not super happy with; but, I was unable to find the original I first watched yesterday.)

Last year Nvidia made nearly this exact announcement with InfoSys (50,000 employee GTM) and a similar announcement nearly a year ago with Snowflake Enterprise, so we’ll see if/when this actually moves the needle for Nvidia.

I’m curious how Accenture’s AI Refinery stacks up against Palantir’s AI Agent development/harmonization platform. Palantir has partnered with MS and Oracle, in GTM for what I view as what is similar to Accenture’s AI Refinery. Nonetheless I believe Nvidia, by moving their software defined Datacenters into an increasing number of Development platforms, has massively increased their Moat.

I’ve had some experience with Accenture, albeit, several years ago. In theory, I’m still bound by NDAs but I doubt that I would be prosecuted for a violation.

In any case, without elaboration I’ll only say that it’s one thing for Accenture to make an announcement and quite another for them to execute. Unless they perceive a long term ability to profit from this arrangement, I wouldn’t expect much to come to fruition - but as I said, what I know is very dated. I’m sure they have different management by now so it might be a different story.
