But that’s a small price to pay for preventing a full-on financial crisis by his heroic deeds, right?
Like the article linked to in another thread said, what is important is to keep the rich comfortable enough to keep spending.

A recession is a period of economic decline, while a depression is a severe and prolonged recession, characterized by a significant drop in economic activity and high unemployment.
I like the easier definitions:
A recession is when your neighbor loses his job.
A depression is when you lose your job.
