Half-life of executive information

“He’s saying they’re exempt from the reciprocal tariffs, but they’re included in the semiconductor tariffs which are coming in probably a month or two,” Lutnick told Jonathan Karl on ABC’s “This Week.” “So these are coming soon.”

There’s also a “Fentanyl Tariff” and also the “Just Kidding Tariff” and I think a few more.

Quality of information is a critical macroeconomic factor.

I estimated the half-life of statements made by the executive branch, such as the one above.

I got 0.666 days per statement or about 16 hours.

Can you make up for lack of quality information with increased quantity of information? That seems to be the MO with these guys.

Somehow that brings to mind the Book of Revelation, chapter 13 verse 3 and the miraculous ear-healing incident.
