Hope you all did well this year

Wrapping up my options tracking spreadsheet for the year. I’ve been struggling with my numbers on that sheet for a long time, which is why I posted questions here.
LOL…
Turns out it was the spreadsheet, not my formulas. Sigh. The ranges for formulas weren’t updating automatically, as I added rows, like I expected them to be. And, across my stocks they stopped in different places which explains why even my double checks were not making sense.

Anyways! I aimed for 1-1.5% returns on a weekly basis this year. I got close. (And no…I am not going to get greedy like some feedback has suggested.)

Overall, I made money this year on top of my core holdings and even the stocks I was assigned are up in aggregate so that is great too.

NOW…I swear someone said this would make me rich someday. I guess I’ll have to see if I can replicate this on my second go around next year.

Again, hope you all did well this year and here’s to the next.

I dunno … 1 - 1.5% A WEEK seems somewhat greedy to me!

1% a week compounds to nearly 68% a year, and 1.5% a week compounds to about 117% a year.

I also play with options regularly, however I am only using a very small portion of my portfolio to do so. My returns are good, but in the large scheme of things don’t mean very much overall. Still it’s nice to bring in a little extra money each month from something that I use mostly as entertainment. If I didn’t trade options, I would make under 10 trades a year total.
