Wrong lesson. Criticizing the USA is fine. Lord knows there’s plenty of opportunities for that. Some of which actually fit the Macroeconomic topic of this particular board.
The lesson should be - do not violate TMF terms of service. I didn’t get a chance to read your post, but based on the thread, my guess is that you went too far down the political path.
While not the most strictly enforced rule ever written, it is used when the violation is sufficiently egregious.

Correct, he learned the wrong lesson. We’ve done bad stuff. Nobody is disputing that. What he does not realize is that we are not “the same” as Russia. Just because both countries have done bad things does not equate us. Not even close. And THAT is what I take issue with - the false equivalence.
And yeah, he’s been here before, just under a different handle. I have my suspicions, but I cannot remember the prior handle I am thinking of.

I am pretty sure I know who.
Both use Latin in their moniker and the other person’s last post was in January, just a few days prior to Egentis’ first post.
Virtually identical posting style and content.
When you are uncommonly adversarial, it is difficult to hide from one’s past.
Edit: Divitias means very rich, Egentis means poor.
