I wish TMF would.......

Long time board users have suffered enough insults from TMF in the closure of many popular boards.

Not the closure alone, but in the dismissively inconsiderate way in which it was done. There was no explanation, there was no sense of regret for what would be lost, no sense of understanding for the sense of loss that many would experience. No timeline—not even a very rough one—was provided, and the door shut with no warning. The question had actually been posed here on Improve… in April, and someone from TMF had said that she didn’t know the date, but that it was moving slowly and she anticipated that it wouldn’t be happening until some point during the summer months. And then BOOM!—it happened in less than a week, as I recall. What a shoddy and uncaring way to have handled it. And that speaks loudly about the current ethos of TMF.
