The Federal Gov’t is funding a free $9,000 heat pump for you if your Governor will sign up for the program and administer the distribution of the funds. If you live in a Red State where racism, ignorance and innumeracy informs public policy, you may be shut out of the program. As usual, Florida and Texas leads the way. {{ LOL }}
I fled Texas for Washington State in 2006. It’s astonishing how much that decision added to my net worth over the past 17 years, just by avoiding the “unforced errors” Texas is imposing on its residents.

{{ By “stacking” rebates with other incentives, low earners can get more than $22,000 in potential support from the federal government, according to an analysis by the AnnDyl Policy Group. Middle-income households can get up to about $19,000, and higher earners can receive over $7,200, the analysis found. }}
I’m going to have to research this more thoroughly. I was just planning on the heat pump furnace-A/C and a heat pump water heater. If I can throttle my income low enough, I may be able to trick-out my home like the Starship Enterprise. Once I start Social Security at age 70, a lot of this tax planning becomes impossible.

i’m so glad I paid for 3 new heat pump-driven mini-splits 2 years ago and that this program isn’t (apparently) retroactive. Maybe I should hack the PDF receipts and pretend it happened after enactment.
