Was just thinking with reading in the Tax Strategies subforum surrounding Inherited IRAs. I have an Inherited IRA from my mother and in good health, but was thinking if I die; and my nieces and nephews (listed as beneficiaries) inherit this subsequent Beneficiary IRA; does it reset the 10 year withdrawal period? Or would the new beneficiary need to deplete the Beneficiary IRA with the years left from when I inherited the IRA?
Random thoughts I get trying to preplan for various scenarios in life.
