Again too much energy going in to be meaningful. The dream is to get so much energy out that this is self fueling. They want to get much further into the 1000s of seconds. Like starting a car the engine needs to be turned over.

This is an international project. China is not the largest contributor.

This is the international project that China is part of (a large fusion device being built in France.) Massive cost overuns leave the completion of the French torus in doubt.
